You might have spotted some of Selwood’s team on TV recently, filmed playing their part in one of the biggest water infrastructure projects in the country.
Viewers of Sewermen on Channel 5 saw Selwood pumps being switched on to get water flowing into a newly-built reservoir in the Lake District, Cumbria. The 50-megalitre facility was filled up over three months to test for any cracks or leaking. Having passed all tests, it will be placed underground to preserve the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

Selwood has signed a three-year partnership deal with JN Bentley to supply pumps from its network of branches around the UK.
The trading agreement cements the long-term relationship between Selwood and JN Bentley, which provides services in the water sector and construction markets and is part of global management, engineering and development consultancy Mott MacDonald.
JN Bentley and Selwood have previously worked in partnership on a wide range of projects and with varying clients.

Selwood, the world’s leading manufacturer of solids handling pumps, has been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing international sales stars in the 11th annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league tables.
Selwood is one of 10 new entrants to the league table, which lists the British mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales. It appears at number 90 in the 200-strong list of companies, with estimated international sales of £8.2m - a 51% growth over two years. It is the first time the company has appeared in the list.
