The year 2016 is a very special one for Selwood and we're going to be celebrating it in style at IFAT, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. Selwood will be marking 70 years since the company was founded with a special stand at the event, which runs from May 30 to June 3 at Messe München exhibition centre in Germany.

Selwood’s pump sales teams have returned from a successful trip to Munich where they exhibited at Bauma, the world’s largest trade fair. During the exhibition, which was attended by more than half a million visitors over the week, Selwood’s representatives took the opportunity to catch up with suppliers, distributors and fellow industry professionals. The event became a celebration for both companies as Selwood is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2016 while SPT marks 40 years in business.

Radio presenter Andy Jackson paid Selwood's Head Office a visit to pick up a cheque for the Wave 105 Cash for Kids appeal. Selwood staff held a range of fundraising events to support the charity. Pump sales administrator Sam Hanslip gave up buying Costa coffees and donated the money to the appeal, while extra funds were raised by her colleagues through a staff tuck shop, Grand National Sweepstake and football cards.
