Leading pumping solutions provider Selwood has underlined its commitment to graduate training with the appointment of five new Sales Representatives.
Selwood selected the new recruits after seeing more than 35 hand-picked graduates from science, technical, engineering and maths disciplines at a graduate recruitment day in London.
The new recruits have spent time both at Selwood’s head office in Eastleigh, Hampshire, and in national pump rental branches.
They will now embark on an ISM accredited sales training programme – a unique range of courses, from recruitment specialists Pareto Law, designed to instil winning sales techniques and strategies.
This recruitment drive comes as Selwood makes a multi-million pound investment in pump rental, consolidating its position as a leading supplier to the water industry and a specialist in water and waste water applications.
Selwood will be investing further in its teams after opening new pump rental branches serving the south west England and north east Scotland.

“All of them have been assigned mentors who will be working closely with them, in particular during their initial year as they progress through their development plan.
“This process has also encouraged us to develop the sales training for our existing teams, so we’re further investing in our training programme to increase the benefits to staff and customers alike.”
