Selwood is helping to bring Easter joy to hundreds of young carers and vulnerable children after donating 200 chocolate eggs to charity.
The leading pump and plant company, based in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, donated the Easter eggs to Honeypot Children’s Charity and the colourful gifts were personally delivered by Richard Brown, Managing Director – Pumping Solutions at Selwood, and Depesh Dayal, Marketing Manager.
The Easter eggs will be given out to young people who benefit from the charity’s respite care and outreach support. Honeypot helps carers and vulnerable children between the ages of five and 12, offering them a break from the stresses of home at one of its two respite houses, Honeypot House, in the New Forest, and Honeypot Pen y Bryn, in mid-Wales.
Selwood has a strong relationship with Honeypot after staff have raised almost £2,000 for the charity and donated gifts over past two years through company-wide raffles.
