Leading pump manufacturer and supplier Selwood is sponsoring a team at Fleming Athletic Football Club for the next two years.
Selwood, which has its head office in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, is supporting the youth football club based at nearby Eastleigh. The sponsorship will cover new home and away kits for the under-13s team, as well as training equipment required.
Fleming Athletic Football Club, in Passfield Avenue, is one of the county’s leading organisations for youth football and has six teams and a mini soccer school for pre-school children.
Richard Brown, Managing Director – Pumping Solutions at Selwood, said: “As one of the region’s largest businesses, we take our community role extremely seriously and we are delighted to be able to sponsor this local team. Young people are the future and it’s great to be able to support them.”
Club Chairman Nigel Schwarzer said: “As an Eastleigh-based youth football club it’s always fantastic to have relationships with local businesses and one way to do this in the form of sponsorship.
“We are extremely delighted to have Selwood onboard for the 2018-19 season and hope this is the start of something big between both sides.”
