The battle against climate change and ocean pollution will on the agenda as Selwood joins long-standing French distributor DMTP to showcase its environmentally-friendly pump technology at Pollutec 2018.
The 28th international trade show for environmental equipment takes place in Lyon, France, from November 27 to 30 and will see 73,000 professionals gather from 128 countries for a focus on innovation. This year’s show will highlight the emerging “green growth” of businesses as countries around the world work to protect the oceans, fight against climate change and make better use of natural resources.
The team from Selwood will be joining partners from DMTP at Stand 96, Hall 6 for the Pollutec event at the Lyon Eurexpo to showcase innovative pump technology that is leading the way for environmental protection and pollution management. Selwood’s market-leading pump products include technology to ensure fuel and water efficiency, electric units with minimal to zero emissions, and remote telemetry to monitor for efficiency.
Selwood has been providing the team at DMTP with the highest-quality pumps for the past two decades for use in the French rental market.
Selwood’s international pump specialist Paul Mann will be showcasing the capabilities of the world-leading S100 solids handling pump. The S range is the global leader for trouble-free pumping of raw and screened sewage, sludge or slurry and water containing rags and fibres.
The team will also be showcasing Selwood’s unique Seldredge technology, which is ideal for environmental clean-ups and lagoon clearance. The Seldredge features a modular system with a 150mm screw pump that is used to mix heavy sludges and oil. Two 46cm rotors each side of the pump condition the oil and sludge into a liquid that can be safely pumped away.
The Selwood team will be available to talk about other pumps in Selwood’s vast range of UK-manufactured pumps, including the best-selling PD range that is ideal for oil spill solutions.
