Every pump we sell is designed by us to endure the rigours of rental, supported by decades of research, development and experience in the water, environmental and construction industries.
Our automatic self-priming system, Selprime, developed by Selwood’s in-house engineers, comes with any Selwood pump and features a water tolerant diaphragm air pump, rapid prime and re-prime, and is an environmentally friendly solution – with no oil vapour emissions or oil emulsification. It’s incredibly simple to maintain and repair, helping to make our pumps suitable for even the most demanding applications.
As both a manufacturer of pumps and the number one pump rental provider in the UK, it’s not a surprise our products are used around the globe.

Our range of accessories includes drip trays, spill kits, fuel cubes with remote telemetry option, pedestrian and hose ramps, pipe stoppers, Selwood silt traps, settlement tanks and silt bags.
Pump spares are also readily available from our branches and worldwide distributors. Or you can purchase our recommended spares kits – with one and two-year options – so you have access to spares immediately, should you need them.

At Selwood, we are always working to minimise costs and come up with more sustainable solutions to reduce impact on the environment.
Just some of the ways we are achieving this include:
HVO Fuel – we’re the first company in the UK to offer pumps that can be fuelled by vegetable oil, which can cut greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%!
Stage V engines - Tougher restrictions on non-road machinery are coming at the end of the year. We are already manufacturing and supplying pumps that meet Stage V standards (Eco5) and can readily provide these to customers who need them.
We also supply the latest emissions-compliant engines to anywhere in the world. Years of global experience and our international distributor network make us sympathetic to territories with differing regulations. You can trust our local experts.
