At Selwood we value our reputation for going above and beyond health and safety requirements. On site our plant hire specialists are always happy to demonstrate the many safety features of our fleet such as telescopic access steps, a powered walkway system and multiple alert systems in the vehicle.

We’re plant equipment hire experts - and experts in innovation
As our business is built on plant hire, we created a bespoke tablet-based hire system based on that knowledge and experience, designed to make it quick and easy to hire from us.
In addition, our QR code system allows customers to easily access comprehensive information about the equipment they have hired such health and safety records, and daily maintenance checks.
We believe we are the only plant hire provider in the UK to offer unique machine QR codes in this way.
We have fully-trained, knowledgeable staff
We invest in our employees heavily and always ensure that our plant hire specialists are trained to the highest industry standards. The continual development of our employees is our priority, making them the experts in their field. Our fitters have a minimum NVQ level 2 as standard and we encourage further training to NVQ level 3 in either plant maintenance or test and inspection, ensuring our engineers can carry out thorough examinations of our machines.
This supports our wide product range, giving our customers the required technical expertise and high-quality service levels.
