Leading pump manufacturer and supplier Selwood supported a charity football tournament in Bristol that saw more than £2,000 raised for good causes. A team from Selwood’s Bristol branch took part in the Waste Water Cup 2018, which saw companies involved in the water industry from across the South West enter five-a-side teams for a knock-out football tournament. Held at Goals, in Broomhill Road, Bristol, the day raised a total of £2,180, which will be split equally between The National Autistic Society and Cancer Research UK.

A team from Selwood have raised more than £4,500 for a vital children’s charity after taking on the fastest zip line in the world and climbing to the summit of Mount Snowdon. Ten employees from the leading pump and plant company took on a two-day sponsored challenge in Wales in aid of the Honeypot Children’s Charity, which helps hundreds of young carers and vulnerable children between the ages of five and 12.

Following a comprehensive business review and keen competitive tender process, the Environment Agency has awarded Selwood a place on a new framework for its hired equipment requirements. Selwood will provide static, towable and electric submersible pumps over the next six years under a framework that provides added value through improved efficiencies, consolidated reporting and service levels.
