Water specialists from around the globe will gather in Amsterdam this November at Aquatech, the world’s leading trade exhibition for the process, drinking and waste water industry. The Selwood team will be joined by our Dutch partner, Van der Ende Groep, throughout the show from November 5th to 8th at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.
At Selwood, our aim is to be exceptional in everything we do. At our head office and manufacturing facility, across our nationwide network of pumping solutions branches, and through partners around the world, our people are the reason for Selwood’s success. We wanted to share the stories of just some of those exceptional people and what they love about being part of Team Selwood.
Selwood has unveiled SelWatch – a remote cloud-based telematics tool that offers real-time performance monitoring across its market-leading pump range. SelWatch provides users with round-the-clock updates including GPS pump location, fuel levels and fuel consumption, engine efficiencies, site water levels and servicing status. Using the portal, customers can securely log in from anywhere in the world to see live pump data and receive system alerts that flag up changes and highlight potential issues. Use of SelWatch can significantly reduce downtime, save money and help efficiently schedule events such as refuelling and maintenance.
Selwood, the UK’s leading supplier of pump rental solutions, has won an exclusive contract to continue to hire pumps and pipework to Northumbrian Water for a minimum of three years. The contract, which comes with the option to extend for a further two years, was awarded following a competitive tender process through which Selwood demonstrated expertise in comprehensive pump and pipework solutions.
Selwood has been appointed as the preferred supplier of pumping solutions to the A14 Road Improvements Scheme – the largest road project in the UK in 2018. The A14 Integrated Delivery Team (A14 IDT), a joint venture between Costain, Skanska, Balfour Beatty and Atkins-CH2M, working on behalf of Highways England, chose Selwood to supply pumps for the entire project, which will upgrade 21 miles of the A14 between Cambridge and Huntingdon.
