The Stig and James McKiver, Strategic Account Manager for Selwood, at the Morgan Sindall event

Selwood’s pump specialists went to the home of British motor sport, Silverstone, to join partners in the construction industry for a day of networking and racing fun.

Selwood’s team showcased their world-leading equipment at the Morgan Sindall Group Experience, a networking event that brings together a range of partners in the group’s supply chain. Morgan Sindall is one of the UK’s leading construction and regeneration groups, working on everything from small-scale fit outs to major urban regeneration and infrastructure schemes.

The new S150Eco Super Silent solids handling pump, developed as an environmentally-friendly diesel pump with industry-leading emissions compliance, went on display at the Selwood stand.

James McKiver, James Sinnock, Pete Zemenides, John Kitchen and Mark Nicholls attended for Selwood and, following a morning of networking, had the opportunity to try out an Aston Martin on the famous racing track.

James Sinnock, a Strategic Account Manager at Selwood, said: “We were delighted to attend the event at Silverstone and to have the opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones.

“It is very important in the construction sector to share knowledge and expertise and this event was the perfect platform for this. We really appreciate the time and effort that Morgan Sindall invests in their supply chain partners.

“The team certainly enjoyed themselves and the ride out on the racetrack is something they won’t be forgetting in a hurry!”

Selwood is the UK’s number one pump rental provider, a leading plant hire company and has a heritage spanning 70 years.
