Selwood’s Pump Rental team recently organised a motorbike ride for Selwood friends, partners and customers to the Bristol Italian AutoMoto Festival – hailed as the best Italian vehicle show in the UK.
This fun social outing was organised by Phil Ingleheart, our Key Account Manager, and was attended by 20 riders from customers such as Wessex Water, Kingcombe Aquacare and Raymond Brown Construction. They were also joined by Selwood colleagues Richard Smith, Mike Culverhouse, Alison Wilson and Jane Hewit.
The group assembled in Yeovil and enjoyed a 45-mile ride to the event, where Italian owners and enthusiasts put their cars and bikes on show in Bristol’s ‘old city’ – around the historic city centre areas of Corn Street and the St Nicholas market.
On display were hundreds of examples of classic bikes, from all the famous marques and a few more obscure ones too. Scooter displays included classic Lambrettas and Vespas, while the car area showcased an exciting array of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Abarths, Lancias, Fiats, Alfa Romeos and Maseratis.
