Leading plant hire specialist Selwood showed its ongoing commitment to exceptional customer service by hosting a dog racing night for Ford Civil Engineering Ltd.
The Ringwood-based company and Selwood have a long-established relationship that has seen the supply of a range of high-quality excavators, dumpers, rollers, pumps and telehandlers. The equipment has been used in a variety of applications in the construction of infrastructure and plot works for the housing sector.
Work is undertaken across the South and South West area of England and Selwood is able to support this with its comprehensive local branch network.
As a “thank you” and to mark the value of the relationship, Selwood arranged for the team at Ford Civil Engineering to attend a night of greyhound racing and a dinner reception at Poole Stadium, in Dorset.
James Peacock, Selwood Sales Representative, who organised the night and is based at the company’s local Dorset branch in Wimborne, said: “We place great value at Selwood in the relationships we form with our customers and so were delighted to give a special ‘thank you’ to the team at Ford Civil Engineering.
“We had more than 20 people there on the night and the event was enjoyed by all.
“We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Ford Civil Engineering and look forward to continue working closely together.”
Jay Martin, Director at Ford Civil Engineering, said: “On behalf of everyone at Ford’s, I would like to thank Selwood for an excellent night.
“Whether winning or not, we all enjoyed it very much so thanks once again for the team’s generous hospitality. It’s much appreciated.”
