Key Account Manager
With extensive knowledge of The Midlands region, The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the successful management and development of new and existing accounts. The role will work with large customers and organisations, ensuring we understand and meet their requirements, integrating their internal processes and procedures with our own. Candidates will have previous tender and re-tender experience, and in-depth experience of developing and nurturing existing relationships with individuals within large organisations and all types of contractors, along with our own branch based teams supporting the customer.
The successful candidate will come from a proven background (ideally) within the Plant or construction industries, and can demonstrate achievements in managing key accounts as well as new business development opportunities.
Effective and appropriate communication skills are key to this position along with the ability to demonstrate that you use your initiative and creativity to achieve and succeed above others are essential.
Responsible for all aspects of account management including regular review meetings and delivery of KPI’s, this role demands experience of procurement and purchase order systems, invoicing and credit control management, QHSE procedures, and the ability to maintain excellent customer service in every aspect.
