Selwood Bucks the Trend February 2009

Selwood is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch in West Thurrock, Essex, bucking the current trend of closures in the industry.

The branch opened for business on Monday, 16 February and is fully staffed with current experienced Selwood personnel moved from other locations. Selwood’s full range of plant and pumps is available for hire with access platforms being added shortly.

This new branch will complement the existing Charlton branch allowing Selwood to give an even slicker service in and around the London area.

Chris Garrett, managing director of Selwood, said. "With the logistics of achieving efficient deliveries from our Charlton branch becoming more difficult due to greater traffic volumes, we decided we needed another strategically placed branch in order to deliver the service levels we strive hard to achieve. This new branch shows the commitment we have to ensure that we continue to offer customers a high and efficient level of service".
